Partners work toward healthier Louisville
Humana was proud to be a part of the Louisville Health Advisory Board which, in 2019, conceptualized and launched Our Shared Mission: Improving Louisville’s Health. This effort involved partnering with the major health-related organizations across the city to highlight key entities working towards a healthier Louisville, heighten awareness of respective missions, and increase collaboration and support of one another’s work. Louisville matured its efforts with United Community, a social health referral platform, and began a new Papa Pal partnership to support seniors affected by social isolation. COVID-19’s impact was felt across the community. In addition to supporting its associates and provider partners, Humana offered grants to the LEE Initiative’s Restaurant Relief Program, Americana World Community Center and ElderServe to address food insecurity.
