Empowering women to succeed

Among its Bold Goal initiatives, Humana partners with organizations who work to assure communities are uplifted and empowered with the resources needed to ensure their well-being. Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta is just one of those organizations and Humana was honored to take part in its recent virtual event ”Rising Up From the Pandemic.” Humana’s Jessica Bean Richardson, D-SNP Community Engagement Executive for Humana in Georgia; Nwando Olayiwola, MD, MPH, FAAFP, Senior Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer; Lisa Porter, MPH, Population Health Leader for Atlanta; and Vignette Berkeley, Director of Business Intelligence, participated in the event that encouraged women to rise up from the pandemic by investing smartly in themselves, their families, and their communities.
