Humana invests in underserved communities to address homelessness in Georgia
Social determinants of health are conditions in the environment that affect every person’s health, in one way or another. Humana’s Bold Goal social health initiative is tackling these issues by investing in underserved communities and affordable housing needs.
Housing stability and homelessness play a large role in health and well-being, on a community and individual-level. Therefore, Humana has invested $25 million to support housing programs in communities that need it most. This investment ensures that each patient has equitable access to care and the tools needed to achieve their best health.
